April 4 Info Session: IU Health Lifeline EMT Career Path Program
Register to attend this free Mosaic Center webinar exploring IU Health's Lifeline EMT Career Path Program — Thursday, April 4 at 12 pm.
Earn While you Learn: Start your Healthcare Career as a Lifeline EMT with Paid Training Provided by IU Health!
IU Health LifeLine is Indiana’s most comprehensive EMS transport team, providing basic and advanced life support, air and ground, and critical care services throughout central Indiana. Lifeline crew members often have advanced certifications and are highly trained to treat the most complex patients, but getting started on this rewarding career path as an EMT requires no medical background.
Through the Lifeline EMT Career Path Program, IU Health offers unique opportunities for interested individuals to gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in the field while preparing to earn a certification by passing the National Registry of EMS Technicians Cognitive Exam. Career Path trainees learn from a team of highly-skilled and dedicated educators while receiving competitive pay and benefits from day one, with uniforms, textbooks, and tuition provided at no cost.
Program Goals:
- To provide a free educational opportunity to jumpstart your medical career.
- To create a space where trainees can focus solely on education before entering the workforce, while being paid and earning benefits.
- To start the pathway from EMT to paramedic to critical care transport or beyond.
