IU Health and John Boner Neighborhood Centers Team up for Hiring + Education Event
John Boner Neighborhood Centers will host a free event July 18 for jobseekers and community members to learn about job openings and career paths with IU Health.
As a community-based unit within IU Health, the Mosaic Center is dedicated to helping people discover their own unique paths into fulfilling healthcare careers. But it’s important to understand that not every healthcare professional is a doctor or nurse.
From x-ray and pharmacy technicians to accountants, engineers, and IT professionals, the healthcare industry includes people of nearly every background and skillset. And while a select few care for patients, countless others make that care possible through their work in a variety of nonclinical roles.
Join our team and our partners at John Boner Neighborhood Centers Tuesday, July 18 for this free event exploring some of the opportunities that exist for jobseekers to get their foot in the door with IU Health and to access the training and support needed to turn an entry-level job into a promising career.
Enjoy a complimentary lunch as you hear directly from hiring managers and other team leaders about what it's like to work in these roles:
- Environmental Services Worker (EVS)
- Food & Nutrition Services Worker (FNS)
- Patient Care Assistant (PCA)
- Supply Chain
- Registration Specialist
- Sterile Processing Technician
