The IU Health Pharmacy Technician Education Program is the least expensive program of its kind in Indiana, and is the only program in Indianapolis with an ASHP/ACPE accreditation. Upon successful completion of the accelerated, 18-week course of study, students are awarded a certificate and are also prepared to sit for the national certification exam given by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. Students who pass this become Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhT) and are qualified to begin a successful career in the field.
In this information session, Program Manager Jennie Fox-Lee will share a brief overview of the program, discuss upcoming application opportunities and deadlines, and answer any questions.
